The Mad Hatters
The Mad Hatters are Gary, Mark and Scott who are forever working on new ideas and original methods of comedy.
Living within 2 miles of each other, gives this trio ample opportunity to rehearse and write on a regular basis, added to that, their friendship of almost 20 years helps them think alike whilst creating their topical sketches.
Their close relationship is probably the main reason why they have slick and excellent timing on stage and in addition, with their many varied talents combine to create a hilarious Cabaret show for any aged audience.
This Comedy Trio has a reputation of being one of the most reliable and professional acts in the country, both on and off stage and is why they are known as “Britain’s Premier Comedy Act”
Their impressions, ad-lib comedy and musical parodies all unite; to generate a comedy experience you will never forgot and will want to see again and again.
The boys can be supplied fully self contained with their own high tech fully computerised sound and light system which means they can work any venue and they have!
The Mad Hatters grounding was firstly in working men’s and social clubs. Which was quickly followed by Military shows for The Armed Forces. Their reputation working for the military soon took them as far as a field as the Falklands, whilst enjoying numerous tours to Germany and Northern Ireland, to name just two. They still continue to this very day to entertain the troops at home and abroad both for new recruits and officers and are known by the services as “The Forces Favourite”
During the summer months they can be seen working many major holiday venues up and down the country which include Butlins, Haven Warner, British Holidays and Pontins to name but a few.
More recently The Mad Hatters have moved into the corporate market and their skill of writing made material for products and the like has certainly come to the fore. Amongst some of their corporate clients has been AKZO Nobel, for whom they launched new paint products to the motor manufacturing industry. Other clients having used their professional writing skills have been Barclays Bank, Telewest, Johnson & Johnson, De Walt Power Tools and they have been promoted the name Euro Tunnel to its corporate clientele.
Well there it is. Today you have read their potted history; we certainly hope that tomorrow you will be watching them working live in Cabaret for you.
