Ray is most recognised for not only his football career, but for his blonde curls and his nick name ‘Romford Pele’. His Arsenal career began in 1992, he was a young midfielder who later bloomed under the management of Arsene Wenger. In 2004 Ray left on a high note for Middlesborough where he stayed until 2007, before transferring to Hull City. Ray remains a largely underrated player for Arsenal and now a regular on TalkSport Radio and Sky Sports as well as being a fantastic name on the after dinner circuit.
