Damion Hopley, Rugby Speaker

Damian is a former centre/winger Rugby Player. Damian’s 14 games for England are not a fair reflection on his talent or influence within the sport; as a popular Wasps player with 10 years’ service, Damian’s International career peaked when the England 7’s team lifted the inaugural Melrose World 7’s Trophy in 1993.

Owing to injury, Damian’s on-pitch career ended in 1998, however his off-field flourished as he later went on to found and run the Professional Rugby Players Association (PRA).

More recently, he has been appointed Chairman of the International Rugby Players Association.
